One Day (Summer Collection 2012)

On a warm and sunny October afternoon, I am happy to present the completed series "One Day," my Summer 2012 collection of paintings.

"One Day" is about aspirations: dreams of achievement, alchemical transformations.

It is about the past: of what happened "one day" many years ago.

It is about snapshots of the present: chance encounters of symmetry, ecology, and beauty that
stop daily life for a moment. All of my compositions are objects and beings inspired by summers
past, present, and future: a season of life and magic, transient and bittersweet.

The entire series will be on view in a solo show entitled Objectified: Still Life Paintings by Sarah Fagan  at the Fireplace Gallery, Mount Hood Community College, Gresham, OR, from November 1 - 29.

Enjoy!
