from top to bottom: South Falls, Along the trail, Alcove behind South Falls, Middle North Falls
This weekend, I took a trip to Silver Falls State Park, Oregon's largest state park and the only one boasting ten large waterfalls within the radius of a few miles (of which we saw seven).
After nearly four months on crutches over the summer, I felt the need to take back the fall--move around and explore as I complete six weeks of physical therapy to fix nerve damage caused by four months of atrophy. In an attempt to use this newfound mobility (even though it's not 100%) we spent the day walking, viewing, and, yes, exploring behind some of the parks best waterfalls. Here's a snippet... as always, click for larger views!
